Our natural Palm Fibre Buna Basket with lid is a beautiful way to introduce woven texture to your home. The Buna Baskets are ideal for storage of skincare and beauty products in the bathroom; styled on a shelf in the living room to keep those essential everyday items tidy; on a console in the entryway to hold keys; or for storing small toys and craft materials.
Handmade by fair trade artisans in a village community of Bangladesh, each piece is assembled by bundling kaisa grass; wrapping them in fine strips of date palm fibre and coiling and weaving them into shape. The women who make these pieces work from home and a genuine Fair Trade partnership ensures they are paid fairly for their time and skills, among many other benefits.

The vast majority of orders are sent directly from our store in Torquay on the Surfcoast of Victoria and some items are sent directly from a partner warehouse, in which case please allow up to 10-14 days from payment of your order to time of delivery.
Please note that delivery is to your front door or post box. If you are not home, our delivery partner will typically leave your item in a secure location out of the weather. They may also leave a calling card if the delivery location is not suitable.
PO Box restrictions may apply with some carriers.
*Large quantities or orders from remote regional locations may require additional cost due to logistics, and may experience some minor delivery delays.
