These beautiful antique Brass Chapati Boxes, also known as Katordan, are lovingly handcrafted and engraved, each piece authentic and with its own character. Once used to store chapati bread to keep warm in the oven, these unique brass collectibles have travelled all the way from India and are ready to be repurposed as a jewellery box, to store your treasures or just as a stunning decorative object in your home. Please note that each piece varies slightly in size and appearance due to its handmade nature, with variations of 1-5 cms. As such, the item received may differ slightly from the images on the website.

The vast majority of orders are sent directly from our store in Torquay on the Surfcoast of Victoria and some items are sent directly from a partner warehouse, in which case please allow up to 10-14 days from payment of your order to time of delivery.
Please note that delivery is to your front door or post box. If you are not home, our delivery partner will typically leave your item in a secure location out of the weather. They may also leave a calling card if the delivery location is not suitable.
